A caregiver serves a meal to an older adult in a living room.

Every family's situation is different. Some need a few hours of help a week. Others need someone there every day. We build the visits around your loved one's routine, in the home they already know.

Our services

What a visit can include

  • Bathing, showering, and getting dressed
  • Grooming and toileting
  • Moving safely from the bed to a chair, and around the house
  • Preparing meals and reminders to eat and drink
  • Medication reminders
  • Laundry, fresh linens, and light housekeeping
  • Help keeping track of appointments and arranging rides
  • Conversation, a walk, a game, or the news together

Our caregivers help with daily living. For nursing or therapy, families work with a home health agency, and many use both. Home care vs. home health explains the difference.

How families pay

Many of the families we serve use Delaware Medicaid long-term care. We work with all three Delaware Medicaid health plans, and we also work with private-pay families. Call us and we'll explain the options and costs for your situation. Learn how Medicaid home care works.
